Focus on the Family

Kathleen Parker at Wa Po is still behind Obama, which I'm sure is going to get her kicked off the "more American than thou" team consisting of Bill Kristol, David Frum, David Brooks, David Broder, and the rest of the MSM sycophants who've been telling us how to run the country (into the ground). Kathleen has noticed that the Obama's speak softly and carry a big family and actually practice what they preach when it comes to the ever-popular dog-whistle fundie-catch-phrase "family values":

Obama's example could have society-altering effects, especially in the African American community. By his example, he telegraphs the following messages: Being smart is good; education is good; being a good father is essential. Being an egghead is cool....

Though we may perish of boredom, the Obamas may do more to elevate the American family than all the pro-marriage initiatives conceived by those who claim to speak for the deity.

Of course the fundies will scream til your ears bleed that Parker must be "in the tank for Obama" - one of the most prevalent memes of the '08 campaign.

Well, welcome to reality Kathleen. And as we know, reality has a well known liberal bias.
